I live and work in Looe in Cornwall and have come across many local websites in need of a re-design! This is not typical of Cornwall, it’s the same everywhere.
I believe that most small to medium (SME) business website owners think their website will continue to work for them forever. Technically this might be true but in reality it most certainly isn’t.
The internet and its users are constantly evolving, becoming choosier and more website aware each year. Unless you keep your website fresh, interesting and in tip-top condition, you will end up losing out to your competitors!
How do you know when it’s time for a re-design?
These simple questions will help you decide if it’s time your website was re-designed.
- Is your website providing you with the results you want?
- Are your visitors doing what you want them to do?
- Do you get many responses from your website?
- Is your website ranked well in the search engines, e.g. Google?
- Can you edit your website yourself for free?
- Is your website looking outdated and old fashioned?
- Do you get many unique visitors and do you know where they’re coming from?
If you answered No to some of the questions then it’s time for a website re-design!
