The Old Malt House in Looe is one of the oldest houses in West Looe and is run as a three room bed and breakfast right in the heart of our historic Cornish fishing town.
It is thought that the Old Malt House was used in the production of Whisky which when made was carried next door to the pub where it was sold in copious quantities to local fishermen and no doubt a few pirates, smugglers and wreckers too!

Polraen Country House near Looe was built in the 18th century as a coaching inn. It is now a well known and established family run hotel with en-suite bedrooms, wonderful gardens, a fully licensed bar, guest lounge and dining facilities.
Run by Gill and Martin Bridges, Polraen has undergone extensive refurbishment and it was time for their old website to undergo an update.

The Windsor Workshop in Sussex is owned by James Mursell and specialises in teaching Windsor Chairmaking courses. Participants get to make their own chair throughout a week long course, which they then take home and use.
James also makes chairs, specialist woodworking tools and tables to order and has just written a new book on Windsor Chairmaking too! He’s a very busy man!

Looe in Cornwall is a great place to live and as far as UK holiday destinations go it’s up there at the top.
Ranked as the third best place to be in the UK on New Years Eve, it’s worth moving here just for that.
I digress! Looe is special and because of this I now run a website dedicated to promoting the town and its businesses to the world!
